Are you scared of making money from blogging and being called a ‘sell out’? Maybe because of the negativepress about bloggers and advertising.

The recent Visit Canberra tourism marketing campaign The Human Brochure sent mass media into a spin and saw them publish articles printed in many of the major Australian newspapers which raised the question of blogger ethics, implied that Canberra paid people to “like” them and suggested that bloggers will do anything for money.

In case you haven’t heard of The Human Brochure or Canberra, let me fill you in.

What it Takes to be a Creative Success

I started the year with a bang, boldly announcing my intent to be a creative success in January and writing:

‘I’m making 2012 the year of the book.

Well, actually it was more of a whimper. The intention was there but I buried the line in the middle of Who else wants to write a book?  just in case I failed to deliver.

Blogging and bloggers are a powerful marketing tool because our blog readers see us as friends, as trusted sources of information who can save them time and money by helping them make the right decisions fast.
