  1. Hello, Pankaj!

    First off, great post.

There is no doubt that social media is crucial to our success. Seth Godin said, "We're wasting the chance of a lifetime."

Social media does have the ability to influence the content ranking. Perhaps, it comes down to the quality and relevancy of the content. The 'useful content' aspect is something I was trying to find in the blog post. I believe that the use of great content for social media marketing begins with the creation of the great content.

You're absolutely right about the selection of the social media platforms. We can't survive on every social platform at the same time. I've talked about this a lot in my blog posts. We can't be active everywhere on social. Finding the target audience and understanding the persona will take us to them.

Thank you so much for this blog post.

    Loved it.

  4. Hi Pankaj,

Great article and tons of tools that can help us with our social media efforts and blog. It took me a while to jump on the social media bandwagon to start using it for my blog.

However, now I think it's virtually impossible to ignore it. I think I ignored it because I just didn't want to spend the time learning how to use it effectively.

I totally agree with you about not trying to be everywhere. I tried to do this when I first started my blog and thought I was going to go crazy.

Now I've chosen 1-2 platforms that are actually helping me grow my blog and am focused on learning the ins and outs of those. There's always something to learn so that we can learn how to make the most of it.

I have been wanting to dive into using forums and Quora more, but there's always something to be done online, I just haven't had time.

I am going to check out some of the tools like Socialert and see how it can help me out with hashtags. To tell you the truth, I am not the best when it comes to finding the right hashtags to use.

Thanks for sharing these tips and I hope you have a great day 🙂

Social Media marketing has evolved since the digital age so online competition is increasing as well. I am facing some issues in online visibility that's landed me here.
When it comes to using Social media to drive traffic to the business, I often hear people say "don't give it away for free." But I don't necessarily agree with that philosophy.
I think that by providing quality, useful information, anyone can position themselves as an expert in their field, which invariably results in business.

It's good to see you around.:)

Social media marketing is considered as one of the best things to boost your blog's growth.

You can increase the organic reach because social signals matter a lot. From the SEO point of view, the more share you get, the more you boost the SEO score.

There are many social media apps, platforms but I always advise people to focus on only two platforms.

If you try to be an everywhere guy, you will be down at some point. I prefer Twitter and LinkedIn over others.

  18. This is a very useful post, thank you. As a blogger, I've come to appreciate the power of social media, especially Pinterest, for driving traffic. One thing I've learned is not to spread yourself too thin by trying to be everywhere, but also not to put your eggs in one basket when it comes to choosing social media channels.

I liken it to having just one client – if that client were to pull their contract, you'd be in a hard spot. Social platforms change frequently and ones that work for you today may not be as effective in the future. It's important to diversify your social traffic sources and work toward driving organic search traffic as well. I agree that social media and SEO are inter-related and that, as Neil Patel says, "Social is the new SEO."

The best advice for anyone using social media for business is to dig into one channel and master it. Then, move on to the next until you find ones that move the needle on your business. Always be looking for new ways to increase your visibility.
